Wet Felted Spring Flowers

One way to experiment using soft and colorful dyed Merino wool is to create a lovely wet felted spring flower that is one-of-a-kind.  In this class, you will explore the art of wet felting through instruction and demonstration of the process: fiber types and differences, layout, adding soapy water, felting, fulling, cutting and healing edges, and shaping the finished flower.  We will be working with soft Merino batting and roving with a variety of colors to choose from.  These flowers are a beautiful addition to hats, scarves, hand bags, or to be left as is.
